Celebrating 80 Years of India and Four Years of Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai with a Grand Independence Day Brunch at Sesame

Mumbai, Aug 07: This August, Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai marks two occasions together, India's 80th year of Independence and the hotel's fourth anniversary. To celebrate both, the hotel's restaurant, Sesame, will host a festive Independence Day brunch that pays tribute to the country's culinary heritage and to the community that has made the hotel a neighbourhood favourite.

Inspired by the colours of the Indian tricolour, the menu showcases a vibrant mix of regional Indian favourites, global classics, and indulgent desserts that celebrate the country’s diverse culinary traditions.

Over the past four years, Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai has welcomed travellers, families and local guests, establishing itself as a place where both everyday moments and special occasions are marked over good food. This Independence Day, the hotel invites guests to honour the nation's 80-year journey while celebrating four years in the heart of Juhu.

The specially crafted Independence Day buffet menu begins with interactive Pasta and Chaat Counters, followed by a spread of salads that includes the Tricolour Crunch Salad, Young India Power Bowl, Roasted Carrot Hummus, Herb Labneh, and Parmesan Prawns with Grilled Figs. Appetisers follow, among them Aachari Paneer, Tricolour Arancini Balls, Fish Kasundi Tikka, and Wok-Tossed Chicken, along with a Roasted Cauliflower, Broccoli, and Walnut Soup.

The main course combines a blend of Indian and Asian influences with dishes including Tiranga Paneer Pasanda, Tricoloured Lasagna, Dal Makhani, Murgh Nilgiri Korma, Chicken Kapitan Curry, Herb Crusted River Sole with Caper & Cherry Tomato Sauce, Prawn in Thai Red Curry, and Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani, complemented by fragrant Zaffrani Subz Motiya Pulao and steamed rice. Sushi lovers can also indulge in a selection of vegetarian and seafood maki, nigiri and rolls.

The dessert spread completes the menu, featuring Tiranga Barfi, Angoori Gulab Jamun, Malai Sandwich, Kalakand, Orange Mousse, Chocolate Truffle Cake, Coconut Mango Gateaux, Japanese Roulade, Hazelnut Chocolate Cake and more, no celebration is complete without dessert.

This year holds special significance for the hotel as we celebrate both India’s 80th Independence Day and Hyatt Centric Juhu Mumbai’s fourth anniversary. We wanted to create a brunch that brings people together over flavours that reflect the diversity of our country while thanking our guests and local community for being part of our journey over the past four years.
