New Delhi, October 14: Chief Minister of Sikkim Mr Prem Singh Tamang yesterday felicitated the Soreng District Administration for securing "First Position nationally in the Health & Nutrition Theme in the June 2026 Quarter Delta Ranking under NITI Aayog's Aspirational Districts Programme".

HCM felicitated District Collector Soreng Mr. Dhiraj Subedi, CMO (Health) Dr. Smriti Rai and CDPO Soreng (WCSCSWD) Mrs. Gauri Tamang for their dedicated efforts and valuable contribution towards strengthening health and nutrition outcomes in Soreng District, contributing to its First Position nationally in the Health & Nutrition Theme in the June 2026 Quarter Delta Ranking and Third Position in overall Delta Ranking under NITI Aayog's Aspirational Districts Programme.

He appreciated their collective contributions and extend his best wishes for continued excellence in the service of the people of Soreng and Sikkim. He also commended the District's commitment to effective implementation of nutrition interventions and grassroots convergence is commendable.

It is to be mentioned that over the years since its inception, Soreng District has always been in the Top 10 District under the NITI Aayog's Aspirational District Programme.
